I have been getting hit physically lately. I am still recovering from a pretty intense case of the shingles. I had no idea it was the shingles until a doctor I was visiting for something completely not related looked at it and said "You have the shingles!" I was like - "oh - I thought it was a reaction to poison ivy!" I have also been testing for some other things. I guess we'll see what comes of that or doesn't. Whatever God brings me through, I know He is with me through it all. He even reminded me of just that. I was leaving for an appointment one afternoon and truly did NOT feel like going. I was over doctors and wasn't feeling it at all that day. I was kind of in a blah mood for the day. I was just present but not really "present" - you know? Just meh. I was praying and merely getting through the day. My friend walks on her lunch break and happened upon a clover patch. She knew I was in a bit of a slump and wanted to find a four-leaf clover for me for the appt that afternoon. She couldn't find one after some intense searching. She kept on walking to finish her walk and turned back. On her return she started praying "Lord, please help me find a four-leaf clover for my friend today." When she got to the clover patch and looked down, Boom! Right there before her eyes was a four-leaf clover. When she brought it in to me and told me the story, I welled up in tears. God is with me and was proving it to me through a four-leaf clover.

No matter what life brings, God is with me. God is with me through every storm carrying me through – this is Earth not Heaven so there will be storms. He brings peace, comfort, and strength through them all. He anchors my soul and keeps me focused on what truly matters in the big picture of life. God is with us in everything. He says it so many times throughout scripture.
Here's just a few:
Genesis 28:15 “What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go.”
Joshua 3:7 “The Lord Told Joshua “They will know that I am with you, just as I was with Moses.”
Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.”
Isaiah 43:5 Here it is again – “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”
Jeremiah 1:19 “….for I am with you, and I will take care of you.”
Jeremiah 15:20 “…for I am with you to protect and rescue you. “
Jeremiah 30:11 “For I am with you and will save you”
Jeremiah 42:11 He tells Jeremiah not to fear this guy anymore…."For I am with you and will save you and rescue you.”
Jeremiah 46:28 “Do not be afraid…for I am with you.”
Hagaii 1:13 “..I am with you, says the Lord!”
Matthew 28:20 “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Acts 18:10 “For I am with you”
1 Corinthians 5:3 “Even though I am not with you in person, I am with you in the Spirit.”

Are you seeing a theme here? God is with us. Never leaving. As a matter of fact, He even sent His spirit - The Holy Spirit to live in our souls with us every minute of each day. The Holy Spirit is leading us, guiding us and bringing peace, comfort, and stability through the storms. We will have storms in life - things that don’t always make sense. Whether you believe in God or not, the storms will happen. Again, this is Earth not Heaven. Wouldn’t you rather have God anchoring you through them? Trust God. When times are really rough, trust God still. The God of the universe, the God who holds the stars in the sky, the God who aches for us because He loves us SO much, sent me a four-leaf clover through a friend to remind me that He is with me. He's not just with me through the storm currently before me, but every single day of my life. How amazing is God. Even though the storms come and go, I have a God who takes care of me through each one, a God who is WITH me. Regardless of what happens on Earth, I will praise God through each storm because He promised to stay with me through it all and keeps proving it to me day in and day out. I will thank God eternally because He is God and He keeps on giving His peace, love, comfort, forgiveness, joy, strength, healing, encouragement and even four-leaf clovers when they are needed. Every. Single. Time. God never lets you down.
