The One Where God Made a Mosaic

If you live in this world, you are going to be broken. Crumbled into pieces. Life is not easy and we ALL have struggles we face in life. Sometimes daily. I know I've had my share. I have been broken into pieces. I've had dark times where I wasn't sure I'd even make it out. I have hurt, I have felt empty inside, I have cried countless tears. Life. I've been completely shattered and not even sure if I could or should go on. Can any of us truly deny that we've been in this state? Utterly shattered...

Isaiah 41:10 "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Sometimes we have to stop and think - wait, this life is not my own. This life I live belongs to God. God put me here for a reason and He is always and will always be with me. God is my rock, my passion, and my foundation.

Our situations and struggles are like stepping stones building upon each other to make us who we are. We change, we grow, we ultimately become more and more like Jesus as our "selves" strip away if we choose to follow His lead and direction. Our selves are broken by life and if we let Him, God will put the pieces back together. There are times when God is directing you to stop and rest - let yourself heal with Him from whatever you are enduring.

Matthew 11:28 "Then Jesus said, Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."

Notice Jesus says ALL of you. Jesus is here for you - ALL of you. Jesus also wants ALL of you. Jesus wants us to hold nothing back and give all of ourselves to Him. His plans are always better and more glorious than ours could ever be. Once we let God into our situations and let Him take over, the healing begins.

Isaiah 43:18 "But forget all that - it is nothing compared to what I am going to do."

God reminds us to not hold on to or live in the past but look towards today - the new day He has given to you right now to go forward with Him. He's right next to you and has the strength you need if you trust in Him. God takes those broken pieces and picks every one of them up one by one. He puts them all together to create a new thing in you. A brand new and completely whole you.

Sometimes there are gaps left in our lives by things we must encounter and get through but God fills those gaps with his love and compassion. Those gaps are where God's light truly shines through our beings and onto others. God uses the gaps. He creates such a beautiful mosaic in us and through us. A true masterpiece. You and all you've been through or will go through are God's precious masterpiece. Nothing this life can hand us is too big for God to help us through. God can bring calm and peace in the mist of storms. He is always with you holds onto you through it all - every step of the way.

Micah 7:8 "Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."

When you let God heal your broken pieces and He restores you, His light will shine through all those gaps and scars our past heartaches and struggles create. Your testimony is a light to others. Real connections are made through shared weaknesses. When we are at our weakest, God is strongest in us if we allow Him to move in us and on our behalf. God will shine through you even when you think you simply cannot. God takes our mess and makes it a beautiful mess full of light and His love. You are a beautiful mosaic handcrafted by God himself.
